Sweden’s Gotlands Brewery incorporates the island of Gotland’s rich brewing and distilling heritage and unique ingredients into their all their products.
Subtle flavours of dill, caraway, anise, fennel and coriander are balanced out with blood orange to add a well-balanced freshness in Saltören's Akvavit. With tones of a medium dry sherry, this is a must try for aquavit enthusiasts. Serve cool or at room temperature, it pairs exceptionally well with crayfish, crab, herring or smoked salmon.
The unique flavour of Gotlands Bittar comes from 30 different herbs (several of which have their origin on the island) macerated into their distilled beer, and then matured for two months, highlighting notes of liquorice root, lemon balm and clove. Gotlands Bittar can be enjoyed as an aperitif or digestive, best served chilled.
