California’s Lost Spirits Distillery is known for it’s innovative approach to distillation, producing spirits that are outstanding in their complexity and uniqueness of their flavour profiles. They have developed a reactor to flash-age their spirits, mimicking 20 years maturation in just six to eight days. They are best known for their high-ester rums and heavily peated malt whiskies.
Butterscotch and caramel notes come through, along with citrus, tropical fruits and a hint of oak on this Cuban-inspired rum. Crafted from just four simple ingredients: baking grade molasses, bacteria and yeast cultures cultivated on bananas and water, it is then matured in sherried American oak casks.
Distilled from both rye and barley, Rattleback Rye is then finished in Sherry-seasoned American oak.
A heavily peated malt whisky made in Scotland, Abomination is then flash-aged in Lost Spirits' reactor with new American oak that’s been seasoned with late-harvest Riesling.
Santeria Rum is made with molasses-based distillate using classic Jamaican-style “dunder” techniques and virgin American oak in the reactor.
