In all the time we've been making the good stuff, we've filled less than 10 casks with peated whisky. And this one was the first. Bottled from no. 210 at cask strength, this very special release begins with a cloud of smoke, ready to warm you right up from your head to your toes.
Profile: Heather honey, smoked brisket, marjoram, dill pickles, apple blossom, salted almonds, surf wax
Mash Bill: 100% Scottish spring barley, kilned with Aberdeenshire peat at 50ppm phenols
Fermentation: 122 hour fermentation
Distillation: Double pot distillation, no partial condenser used. Hearts collected from 72% to 58.9% ABV. Diluted to 62% ABV for filling.
First fill 225 litre regenerated French oak cask, lightly charred
