Our grain vodka is produced using 100% British wheat spirit which is distilled in our state-of-the-art copper pot still, custom designed and hand built by Arnold Holstein in Germany following the traditional metalworking techniques that the family has been using for generations. With a creamy mouthfeel and faint anise aftertaste, we love our vodka on it’s own as much as in a vodka martini.
100% BRITISH WHEAT vodka
Our signature London Dry Gin is distilled using the finest 100% British wheat spirit both vapour and direct infused with fresh lemon & grapefruit peel, coriander, angelica root, juniper berries, cubeb berries and cardamom. The bright, fresh flavours of the citrus and juniper give way to the spiciness of the cubeb berries and cardamom, making this an excellent gin & tonic spirit, topped off with a wedge of lime.
LONDON DRY GIN
Our Premium Batch No.1 Gin has a balanced yet dry taste due to the inclusion of Darjeeling tea. It’s distilled from 100% British wheat spirit along with juniper berries, coriander seeds, cassia bark, angelica root, pink grapefruit peel and cubeb berries. Perfectly served in a dry martini, the spices work with the fresh grapefruit to tame the tea’s tannins.
PREMIUM BATCH NO.1 GIN
Our Premium Gin Batch No. 2 has a distinctive herbaceous and savoury profile. Distilled from 100% British wheat spirit and infused with juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, angelica root, lemon peel, thyme, winter savoury, fennel seeds, sage, bay leaf and lavender, we had a typical English herb garden in mind when creating the recipe -perfectly served in a negroni or wet martini.
PREMIUM BATCH NO.2 GIN
The unique process of our rum gives it a smooth and complex profile, with caramel and fruit flavours: made using molasses produced from 100% Demerara sugar, grown on the banks of the Demerara River in Guyana, it is then micro-distilled in a two-column wooden Coffey still (the world’s only surviving wooden column still). Finally, it is aged in ex-bourbon casks for at least 3 years, adding spicy vanilla notes. Makes a fantastic daiquiri. Also available in Navy Strength.
Launched in January 2016, we’re releasing our gin aged in various wood finishes throughout the year. Our first launch featured our signature London Dry Gin aged in new French oak barrels for 14 weeks. The casks imparted the classic vanilla and dried fruit notes found in bourbon, while complementing and enhancing the botanicals of the gin, particularly its cardamom notes. Classically drunk neat, it also makes for a distinctive negroni.
BARREL-AGED GIN PROGRAMME
We’ve launched our inaugural London Rye® Whisky: the first London-distilled whisky to be drunk in over 114 years. Bottled at 46.8% abv to best capture the aromas and tastes of our distilling process, this initial release has a mash bill of 42% rye and 58% extra pale malt, and aged in a combination of new French oak and ex-Bourbon casks, and finished in an ex-Pedro Ximénez cask. Whisky releases of varying mash bills, production and cask finishes will happen throughout the year.
LONDON RYE® WHISKY
We launched three new releases at the end of October 2019: our second release of London Rye® Whisky, aged in ex- Peated & Pedro Ximénez with an abv of 47%, our first East London Single Malt, aged in ex- Bourbon & Rye with an abv of 47%, and ELx Sonoma, a special blended whisky in collaboration with Sonoma Distilling Company with an abv of 45.5%.
